ClearView is a transparent radiation shield with shielding equal to lead but at half the weight. ClearView shields protects workers against gammas, betas, and neutrons during high-dose, high-risk jobs. Typical syringe shields made of lead (Pb.) are restrictive viewing for the nuc-med technician during the infusion of radiopharmaceuticals. Using the ClearView Syringe shield avoids incomplete infusion and allows the nurse and nuc-med technician to monitor the volume of radiopharmaceutical administered..
