Continuum of Safety

Tungsten syringe shields provide a continuum of radiation safety from dose dispensing and transportation to patient administration. Ideal for theranostic radioisotopes, shields are designed with innovative solutions to improve the end user experience. The modular design configures to the clinical setting; dispensing, transport, assay and patient administration. Featuring a patent pending lock mechanism with no screws or springs, the ergonomic shields open and close with one-third rotation. Shields can be secured to preserve chain of custody.

Available in 3 sizes to accommodate commonly used radioisotopes:

  • 5 cc – Ideal for unit dose theranostic radioisotopes such as Ga-68 and Cu-64
  • 30 cc – Made to accommodate up to 500 mCi
  • 60 cc – Made to accommodate 1 Ci I-131

Needle Recapper

Universal Needle Recapper 

Reduce extremity exposure while administering unit doses of high energy radioisotopes with the Universal Needle Recapper. The virtually unbreakable recapper integrates with syringe shield products to extend radiation safety from radiopharmacy to patient administration. Innovative dual-sided device allows for the manipulation of luer-lock needles as well as syringe-tip caps, attenuating activity from syringe volumes up to 60 cc.
